Frequently Asked Questions
Is Dr. Rosenberg authorized to treat patients in Minnesota?
Yes. Dr. Rosenberg holds an active medical license in Wisconsin and is registered with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice to provide interstate telehealth to patients located in Minnesota (Minn. Stat. § 147.032). Care for Minnesota patients is delivered by secure video only.
How does telemedicine DPC work?
You get the same comprehensive primary care relationship as an in-office patient — just delivered over secure video and messaging. Visits are longer (30-60 minutes typical), you have direct access to your doctor, and labs are coordinated locally.
Do you handle emergencies?
No. Lotus Direct Care is not a substitute for emergency care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911. For mental-health crises, call or text 988.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
HSA and FSA can generally be used for the Standard membership ($150/mo individual). See our HSA FAQ for the full explanation, and check with your plan administrator for your specific situation.
What if I need to see a specialist?
We coordinate with specialists in Minnesota and beyond. Most routine specialist referrals can be handled through your existing insurance or at negotiated cash-pay rates.
What if I want to cancel?
Membership is month-to-month with a three-month minimum, 30-day written notice to cancel, and a $99 re-initiation fee if you leave and return.
