Telemedicine

At Lotus Direct Care, we offer a variety of our services through telemedicine. We are pleased to be able to offer these services to patients residing in Wisconsin and New Mexico. We are often able to accommodate new patients on the same or next day. We pride ourselves on being responsive and providing easy access to the doctor. If you have any questions or concerns throughout your treatment, we always have a prescriber on call who can respond to your needs.

 

Services Offered Via Telemedicine Include:

• Treatment of depression and anxiety

• Management of opioid addiction with Suboxone and other medical treatments for addiction and alcohol abuse**

• Chronic disease management 

• Medication Refills

• COVID-19 care 

• Care for acute illnesses

 

Please note that not all chronic and acute conditions can be appropriately managed via telehealth. The doctor may ask you to seek in-person care if remote care is not appropriate. Additionally, you may be directed to a local lab or imaging center for further diagnostic information. It is important to note that lab and imaging services are not included in our fees and may incur additional third-party charges.

** You may be asked to submit samples for toxicology screening, which can usually be done from your home, but occasionally may require you to travel to a local laboratory such as Quest Diagnostics or LabCorp. The rules around telehealth prescribing are changing and some conditions require in-office visits, contact us for more information.
